Cure iPad Air 2 static, popping & distortion.

Bought an air 2 yesterday. Found the sound full of static, popping and distortion. Forums full of similar complaints with suggestions of hardware, electrical, physical and solar flare problems as the issue.

I bought RADIOEQU and tried to clean things up with a manual adjustment. No joy. I then dragged the curve downward (to reduce the gain) until the sound was clean. EQUs volume control then gave me as much volume as I could stand with NO static, popping or distortion!

All of the rest of EQU is just icing on the cake. I am absolutely satisfied with both the radio and the EQU functions but I would pay the full price ($4.99) just for the static, popping, distortion sound cure.
